A name, a date, initials or a short message, engraved on the back. The maximum length depends on the shape, so the letters stay clear and readable: up to 20 characters on the leather bracelet, 25 on bar and 3D bar pieces, 30 on coins and hearts and 40 on tags. The Declaration of Faith 3D bar necklace also has an optional side engraving. We engrave exactly what you type, so please check the spelling and the date before you order.

The Arabic calligraphy on the front is part of every design. For your personal engraving on the back we use Latin letters, including accents such as é, ü and ç, numbers and common punctuation. Arabic script and emoji can’t be engraved on the back, so write a name in Latin letters instead, for example Aisha, Yusuf or Fatima.

The front carries the design you choose: a name of Allah ﷻ, the name of the Prophet ﷺ, a dua or a verse of the Qur’an, engraved in your finish. The back is yours: add a name, a date or a short message, or leave it plain.

Email info@giosbazaar.com as soon as possible with your order number and the correct text. Every piece is engraved to order within 2–5 business days, so the sooner you write, the better the chance we can still change it.

If the engraving on your piece differs from the text you entered, send us a photo and we will replace your piece at no cost to you.

It is gold-plated, not solid gold: stainless steel 304L with 18k gold plating, 18k rose gold plating or a silver-tone finish. Stainless steel is strong and keeps its shine.

Our necklaces come on a 45 cm chain with a 5 cm extender, so you can wear them at 45 to 50 cm. The chain bracelets are 18 cm with a 5 cm extender, and the open bangle adjusts to your wrist. The exact measurements are on every product page.

Take your jewellery off for swimming, the gym and the shower, and put on perfume and lotion before you put it on. Wipe it with a soft, dry cloth after wearing and keep it in its gift box, so the engraving and the finish stay beautiful for longer.

Yes. Every piece arrives in a gift box, ready to give. A name or date on the back makes it personal: for Eid, a nikah, a graduation, a new baby or a return from Hajj or Umrah.

Yes. Type the name exactly as it should appear, for example the name of your wife, husband, child or parent, and we engrave it on the back.

Yes. Enter the recipient’s address as the delivery address at checkout, and we send it straight to them.

Yes. Gold is not permitted for men (Jami’ at-Tirmidhi 1720), and scholars differ on gold-plated jewellery, so for men we recommend the silver-tone stainless steel finish. The leather bracelet, the Cuban chains and the 3D bars are all available in silver-tone steel.

Yes. Every inscription on our rings and jewellery has been checked, and each product page shows the Arabic with its meaning and, for verses and duas, its source.

Shipping is free on every order and always tracked. Personalised jewellery is sent straight away and delivered in 1–2 business days in the Netherlands, 2–3 in Belgium, Germany and France. If you choose a back engraving, we engrave your piece to order first, which adds 2–5 business days. For rings, you’ll find the delivery time on each ring’s product page.

Yes. As soon as your order has been sent you receive an email with your tracking link. Rings and personalised jewellery are made in different workshops, so an order with both arrives in separate parcels, each with its own tracking link.

No. All prices include VAT and import duties. Our rings come from our supplier in Thailand and are sent delivered duty paid: we pay the import VAT through our EU IOSS registration and any duties too, so there is nothing to pay on delivery. If a carrier ever asks you to pay, please don’t pay and contact us first.

You can pay with credit or debit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal and Klarna, and with Bancontact in Belgium. Checkout is secured by Shopify.

Yes, within 30 days of receipt and without giving a reason, engraved pieces and rings included. Email info@giosbazaar.com and we send you the return instructions. Return it unworn and undamaged; the return postage is yours unless the item is faulty. We refund the full price within 14 days. See our returns policy.

Open the size finder on any ring page. Measure the inside diameter of a ring that fits you well, and the finder shows the matching size. Between two sizes? Choose the larger one: a ring with a wider top fits a little snugger.

Every ring comes in 12 sizes, from EU 49 to EU 77 (US 5 to US 16). Each size shows its EU size, US size and inside diameter in millimetres, so you can compare it with a ring you already own.

Send the unworn ring back and order the size you need. Measuring with the size finder first is the quickest way to get it right the first time.

Solid brass has a warm golden tone and a reassuring weight. 925 sterling silver is 92.5% pure silver: bright, durable and naturally precious. Both are solid metal, not plated, with the inscription set in coloured enamel or worked into the metal.

Brass and sterling silver both contain copper, which reacts with moisture and skin. Brass slowly develops a soft patina over time, and on some skin it can leave a faint, harmless mark. Keeping the ring dry and taking it off for washing and sport prevents most of this. Silver may tarnish slightly, which polishes off easily.

Wipe it with a soft, dry cloth after wearing. Take it off before swimming, showering, cleaning or exercise, and apply perfume and lotion before you put it on. For silver, a silver polishing cloth brings back the shine. For brass, a soft cloth keeps the warm glow; avoid harsh cleaners on the enamel. Store it in its box when you don’t wear it.

Yes. The Prophet ﷺ had a ring made of silver (Sahih al-Bukhari 5877, Sahih Muslim 2092), and wearing a silver ring is widely accepted for men. Gold is not permitted for men; our rings are brass or silver, not gold. Scholars hold different views on other metals such as brass, so if this matters to you, choose 925 silver or ask a scholar you trust.

Many scholars recommend taking off a ring bearing the name of Allah ﷻ, the name of the Prophet ﷺ or words of the Qur’an before entering the bathroom, out of respect. If you keep it on, scholars mention turning the inscription towards your palm and closing your hand over it.
